How & When To Apply

Applications for admission are accepted throughout the school year. We admit students whose academic, personal, social and emotional needs are met by the school’s programmes and services. Please do not withdraw your child from his/her present school until he/she has been officially accepted by our school in written notification.

Step 1: Submit a complete application
The following documents must be completed and submitted together with the application form which will then be reviewed by the Admissions Team. All records from the child’s previous/current school must be provided in English (if the child is enrolled in the English section), and in Georgian (if the child is enrolled in the Georgian section).

The required documents are:

  • 2 Photographs (passport size)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport (for the English section) and original of birth certificate (for the Georgian section)
  • Medical form and copy of immunization record
  • Official school records for the past three years of school as applicable to the grade level
  • Student Background Survey
  • A recommendation letter from the child’s present school
  • Bus Transportation Agreement
  • Field Trip Agreement
  • Digital Citizenship agreement
  • School Enrolment contract (must be signed every year at the time of re-registration)

Step 2: Assessments and Interview
The application will be reviewed and considered by the Admissions Team which consists of the Director, the Principal and Admissions staff. This process is carried out to ensure that the school has an appropriate program to meet the child’s needs and that the child will do well in New School, in accordance with the School’s mission and goals.

Step 2.1: Transferring to New School (Elementary and Upper School)
When the documents are completed and reviewed, an appointment will be scheduled for the child to be assessed.

If the child enrolls in the English section, the subjects that will be assessed are Math and English. If the child enrolls in the Georgian section, the child will be assessed in Math, English and Georgian. After completing these assessments, the child will have an interview with the Principal. The child will then have the opportunity to meet with the School psychologist/counselor. With this helpful evaluation, the School can access how the child’s learning process can be enhanced.

Step 2.2: Enrolment for Pre-School and Kindergarten
When the documents are completed and reviewed, the child will have the opportunity to meet with the school psychologist/counselor. With this helpful evaluation, we can see how the child’s learning process can be enhanced.

Step 3: Acceptance
After careful review, a letter of acceptance will be sent. In order to secure the offered place after the offer is received; a €250 deposit will be required and should be paid as soon as possible. Of the remaining amount, 65% of the tuition fee is due by 15 August and the remaining 35% is due by 15 December. Making these payments on time helps to secure the child’s place in the school. Failure to make on time payments could result in the loosing of the place which could be given to children who are on the waiting list.

Step 4: Child’s Documentation Filing
After the review and final approval, all completed documents, materials and application forms will go into the child’s file. A meeting between parents and the principal in relation to the assessment results can be conducted upon request from the parents.
